seven teams from Christchurch.
Please remember to make sure all players are paid in full to UWHNZ & NZU before the 28th, all players must be paid as adults!, if they are new players please bring there subs to the pool & give to ray Dolman or myself prior the 7am meeting.
Team togs must be worn ie all matching.
We will be playing 10min halves with 2min 1/2 time them 3 min between games.
There will be 44 games. The games will start at 8.10am sharp in the water,
then we will have a break at 1.35 pm before semi's
The final game will start at 5.20pm if the finals do go into extra time.
We have the pool booked till 7pm in case.
The C grade will play a single round robin with semi's then finals.
The A & B grade will play a single round robin with play off's & finals.
The Top seed in both the A & B grade after the round robin will advance
straight to the final, the remaining four teams will play off to play in the
finals, at the end of the play off's the 5 seed team will drop out.
This allows us to play as many games as possible & it will make for a
interesting final, due to that the top team will be rested but then the second
seeded team will have a bit more water time to sort themselves out.
If you are confused wait till you read the draw (look more confusing) but very
simple once you get your head around it.
The prize giving will be pool side 1/2 an hour after the final game has finished.
Ian Barker & myself will be arranging a night out for those that wish to come,
it will be a meal , drinks & dancing.
Please ask your members if they are keen & pass some numbers back to me or Ian
Barker, it will pay as you go!
Regards Bryn Thompson.
