What we're looking for:

• Tournament promotion, entry forms, draws, results or photos.
• Promotional material for training camps, coaching or refereeing courses.
• Write ups of tournament finals, etc.
• Documents that underwater hockey administrators would find useful.
• Historical information on New Zealand underwater hockey.

Please also send in

• Updates to the club contacts pages.
• Dates for the Calendar page.
• Factual corrections.
• Corrections for any spelling mistakes.

General guidelines

I don't want to re-type pages of text from paper into web pages. I'd much prefer to receive an email or the following types of files attached to an email:

• Word processing documents
• Spread sheets
• HTML (.htm, .html)
• GIF (.gif), JPEG (.jpg) and other common graphic formats

Formatting guidelines

You can help me if by following these simple formatting guidelines:

Tabular Data: This is text that you want to format into columns and rows. Please place tabular data into a table within documents or spread sheets. It's time consuming to convert data aligned with tabs into a format readable in a web page.

Fit on Page: Make sure that you're document fits on a normal A4 page if printed. You can utilise the Print Preview functions in most software to determine this.

If you don't follow these formatting guidelines, then the effort to publish your document can easily go from ten minutes to hours, which might mean your document won't get published.

Photos

I will aim to publish most underwater hockey related photos I'm sent. Whether they're old or new, if suitable I'll include them in the gallery.

If you want, I can overlay your credit onto the bottom corner of the photo, e.g. "Photo Courtesy of Fred Dagg"

Most well-equipped print, copy or photo processing shops or internet cafes will scan your prints for a cost. Just ask them to email the resulting files (in JPEG format) direct to me with a cover note from yourself.

Be sure you also send me information about the photo, e.g. names, dates, club, tournament and any background tid-bits that may be interesting to those who will eventually view it on the website.
