The 2009 UWH AGM will be held Friday 6 March 2009 7:00-10PM at the Latimer Hotel, 30 Latimer Square, Christchurch
UWHNZ is your organisation so please consider if there are any
ideas you have to improve your organisation, and either submit a
remit or nomination through your club committee.

NOTICE OF MOTION
INCORPORATION UNDER INCORPORATED SOCIETIES ACT 1908
Notice of meeting to adopt rules and incorporate.
TAKE NOTICE that the following motions relating to the Society will be put to a meeting of the Society to be held at the above time, place and date:
1 That the Rules presented to this meeting be approved and adopted as the Rules of the Underwater Hockey with effect from this meeting (including/ excluding the elections to be held at the Annual General Meeting this evening).
2 That Underwater Hockey New Zealand applies for incorporation under the Incorporated Societies Act 1908.
3 That the Registered Office of the Underwater Hockey New Zealand be at specify street address.
Any member wishing to see the proposed new Rules should see the Underwater Hockey New Zealand website . Pieter Brits who prepared the draft for us, will be happy to answer any questions about the proposed Rules and proposed incorporation.

2009 AFFILIATION
Affiliation is an important process. All members must affiliate to UWHNZ to participate in UWHNZ events. The cost of affiliation is below.
MEMBERSHIP LEVIES

Club Affiliation Before 31 March 2009 $125
Club Affiliation After 1 April 2009 $150
Club Membership Before 31 March 2009 $40
Club Membership After 1 April 2009 $50
To become a member download the Affiliation Form and return it to your club secretary with the above payment. Alternatively payments can be made by direct payment to Underwater Hockey New Zealand Main Account (Kiwibank) 38-9006-0622485-00 with the following reference [Your Club- Affiliation].
CLUB REGISTRATION
If you haven't registered your club please do so by Downloading and filling in the attached form and sending the form along with $150 payment per club to UWHNZ, PO Box 31-467, Lower Hutt. All clubs need to submitt these contact form s as soon as possible to allow the AGM information to be emailed to the correct club contacts.
CLUB MEMBER AFFILIATION
If you haven't registered your players please do so by Downloading and filling in the attached form and send along with $50 per player payment to UWHNZ, PO Box 31-467, Lower Hutt. As an incentive UWHNZ will supply one puck for every extra 5 members registered when compared to the 2008 registered number of members.
SCHOOLS AFFILIATION
If you haven't registered your players please do so by Downloading and filling in the attached form and send along with $6 per player payment to UWHNZ, PO Box 31-467, Lower Hutt. The number of registered players determines the number of qualifying positions available at each zone tournament. As an incentive UWHNZ will supply one puck for every extra 10 school players registered when compared to the 2008 registered number of students.
FOR CLUB SECRETARIES
Registration of members must be completed both electronically by Downloading and filling in the attached spreadsheet. In addition you must print a hard copy of the registration spreadsheet and forward this hardcopy printout along with the signed membership forms to UWHNZ, PO Box 31-467, Lower Hutt. Once all paperwork and payment has been received UWHNZ will confirm acceptance of the membership.
